
I. Richard Junk
The Junk Investment Group, LLC’s founder was a Registered Investment Advisor from 1987 – 2022. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1968, and began his involvement in the financial services industry in 1972. Continuing his professional education, Rick maintained the College for Financial Planning’s designation of Certified Financial Planner(CFP®) from 1983 – 2022 and American College’s Certified Life Underwriter (CLU) designation from 1979 – 2022.

Cassandra Junk
Brings to the practice a mathematics background as well as computer expertise. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Western Maryland College in 1972. Since 2005, Cass has served as the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer.

Eli Adams CFP®
Joined The Junk Investment Group in May of 2016 after a successful career managing Marriott and Hilton branded hotels in the Baltimore area. His extensive experience with finance and customer service is an ideal foundation for his work as a financial advisor. Since joining the team, Eli has passed the Series 66 exam, acquired the Behavioral Financial Advice (BFA) designation and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation. Eli has a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. His passion to learn and problem solving abilities are a perfect combination to assist clients with their financial concerns.

Nick Mangione, CFP®
Born and raised in Baltimore, Nick attended Calvert Hall and Towson University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and played NCAA Men’s Soccer. Nick worked for Legg Mason before broadening his professional career alongside his family, first in the field of hospitality at Hilton branded hotels and then as the General Manager of Hayfields Country Club. In January 2020, Nick joined The Junk Investment Group and returned to his roots in finance. Since joining the team in January 2020 and returning to his roots in finance, Nick has passed the Series 63 exam, Series 65 exam, and acquired the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
